Tupay mvp is a Kenyan Hip hop artist who raps in the bongo hip hop style. His birth name is Kevin Otieno, last born in the family of three. He was brought up in Mombasa in Mikindani with other 5 kids of the family at his aunties home after his mother passed in 2007. He his an upcoming MC whose work entails religion, politics and lyrics loosely based on his life. He his passionate about what he raps and he is not ready to drop the mic at any point in the near future as far his purpose in the game is concerned.

Visionary of today and motivator of tomorrow, that is how he views himself to be. He said that being brought in a Christian home and his participation in school debates are what made him love Hip hop music. “kwa mziki zote, mzikii wa hiphop ndio nlikuta kuwa inaongea kwa lugha ambayo nilielewa kwa urahisi, toka nlipokuwa mtoto…iliniinua na kunielimisha katika kiwango kikubwa na kufanya mabadiliko katika maisha yangu nlipokuwa nakuja juu”.

Recorded his first track in 2019, “MINDSET” featuring his high school bestfriend [Pius Ngala] Dk one. In 2020 he formed a Hip hop rap crew with his homies called Yten Legacy w/c later changed name to Yt Patrol.

Tupay Mvp Went to Nazarene primary [2008-2015] in Mikindani for his primary education, he then joined St. Charles high school [2016-2019]. He did not proceed to university nor did he attend any college. He has attended business trainings [KYEOP, Swahilipot] and graphics designing training [artist Alexseva\inscape & John kamau\photoshop.-upto2022
